Ithaca's Quigg Named NSCAA All-East Region Coach of the Year
Ithaca College women’s soccer head coach Mindy Quigg was named
NSCAA East Region Coach of the Year.
Ithaca advanced to the NCAA round of 16 for the fifth time in six years and finished their season with a school-record tying 19 victories. The Bombers matched a school record with 12 consecutive wins in a season.
Quigg earned her second NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year honor after completing her 19th year as Ithaca's head coach. She was also recognized with the honor in 1996. Quigg is the program’s winningest coach, posting a record of 262-81-45 (.753). Ithaca has earned 16 NCAA playoff berths during her career, including trips to the national semifinals in 1998 and 2011 and NCAA quarterfinal appearances in 1996, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2012.
