Elmira, NY – The Elmira College Field Hockey team was recognized as a NCAA Division III National Academic Team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for Fall 2011. In order to be named a Gladiator by SGI National Academic Team, teams must have had a combined team grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2011 semester.

 

Eight members of the squad have also been named to the 2011 Gladiator by SGI--NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year.
