Nazareth tops FDU-Florham, 7-2
HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth's men's tennis team closed its spring break trip Friday by defeating FDU-Florham 7-2. The Golden Flyers won two of their five spring break matches and are 3-5 overall.
The Golden Flyers took five of the six singles matches with junior Ryan McCormick extending his first singles record to 7-0 with a straight set win over FDU's Andrew Scamparino. Juniors Bret Beaver and Jeremy Mancus each took straight set wins as did sophomore Erik Manske and freshman Matt Jennings.
McCormick and Beaver teamed up for an 8-5 win at first doubles, while Mancus and Manske teamed up at second doubles.
