Best Finish In 15 Years For Ithaca Men's Swimming & Diving at NCAAs

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Ithaca men's swimming & diving team wrapped up the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships with Saturday's final sessions and the Bombers finished 32nd in the team standings with 21 points earned over the four-day championship. It was Ithaca's highest team finish since the 1996-97 team placed 24th.

Sunday's final session included senior Jeff Rapp who was 33rd in the preliminary heats of the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:56.38 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of senior Antoine Connors, junior Jake Robbins, Rapp and junior Chris Cadwell which was 20th in the preliminary heats with a time of 3:07.32.

A total of 52 institutions recorded team points in the men's standings.
