Ithaca Men's Track & Field Team Competes at Penn Relays
Philadelphia, Pa. – The Ithaca College men’s track & field team competed at Penn Relays on Friday and Saturday at Franklin Field.
The Bombers’ 4x100-meter relay of freshman Rashaad Barrett, sophomore Brennan Edmonds, senior Doug Koury and sophomore Jake Willis hit the ECAC qualifier with a time of 43.39 on Friday.
Ithaca's 4x800 relay met the ECAC qualifier on Saturday. Juniors David Geary, Billy Savage and Nathan Bickell joined freshman Dennis Ryan to place 22nd in the event in 7:45.99.
Junior Brian Maley placed 20th in the long jump with a mark of 6.62 meters.
Edmonds, freshman Matt Killian and junior Ian Tapler each raced in the 400 hurdles.
Edmonds finished in 58.53,
Killian in 60.07 and
Tapler in 61.14.
The Bombers finished the 4x400 relay in 3:24.88.
Edmonds,
Killian,
Willis and
Koury teamed together for the race.
Ithaca will next compete Sunday at Cornell and at the NYSCTC Multi hosted by Rensselaer.
