Social Media Coverage for Empire 8
As the Empire 8 prepares for the 2012-13 athletic season, the conference wants to remind all coaches, student-athletes, administrators, parents and fans about its social media coverage.
The Empire 8 encourages all fans of Facebook to “like” the
Empire 8 Athletic Conference page in order to stay connected with the conference. (Please note that Empire 8 launched a new fan page in July 2012. Help build our fan base and spread the word).
In addition to Facebook, the Empire 8 is promoting its Twitter account,
@Empire8. Followers can keep up with athletic events and announcements from around the conference.
Social media allows students, alumni and fans to be aware of the Empire 8’s happenings daily. By using Facebook and Twitter, the conference can communicate with its constituents on a regular basis allowing growth of the Empire 8 fan base.
