Li Registers Empire 8 Praise
Rochester, N.Y. – Sophomore Sharon Li was named Empire 8 Player of the Year after taking medalist honors at the 2012 Empire 8 Women’s Golf Championships at the Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira. Additionally, she was named conference athlete of the week on Monday.
Li's score of 78 was the best single-round score posted over the two-day event.
The Bombers will next compete at the Mount Holyoke Invitational at The Orchards in South Hadley, Mass. on Saturday and Sunday.
