Empire 8 Announces Women’s Golf All-Conference Team

Sophomore Sharon Li of Ithaca College earned the Medalist/Player of the Year honor at the 2012 Empire 8 Women’s Golf Championship.  She shot rounds of 82 and 78 at Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira, NY.
 
The top five finishers who played both rounds were named to the all-conference first team with the next five players being selected to the all-conference second team.
 
Li, who shot the best round of the tournament with a second-round 78, earned first-team all-conference and was joined by four of her Ithaca teammates who all shot two day totals of 180 or lower.

Kelley Citrin of Nazareth was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year after posting scores of 94 and 106 for a 200 total.
