Nazareth Breaks into Men's Soccer National Rankings
Nazareth College (5-0) broke into the top 25 national ranks for the first time this season in this week's
National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
The Golden Flyers had a pair of 3-1 victories last week, including a home field win over Utica in the Empire 8 opener on Saturday. Nazareth also defeated Fredonia last Tuesday in a non-conference matchup.
Nazareth hosts RIT today at 4 p.m. and travels to Elmira on Saturday, Sept. 22.
In the third week of NSCAA
East region rankings, the Golden Flyers are slotted third. Stevens Institute of Technology (4-2) is No. 7 and completing the poll is Elmira College (6-0) at No. 10.
