Day Tabbed Women's Runner of the Week
Junior Katie Day is the Empire 8 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after leading Utica at the Harry Lang Invitational at Colgate University on Saturday, Sept. 1. The Pioneers came in eighth place overall, and second amongst Divsion III teams. Utica competed against the likes of Division I schools including Syracuse University, Colgate University, and the United States Naval Academy.
Day led Utica as she placed first among Division III runners and 45th overall, covering the 4,200 meter course in 17:36.00.
