As the Empire 8 begins the new year, the conference wants to remind all coaches, student-athletes, administrators, parents and fans about its social media coverage.
The Empire 8 encourages all fans of Facebook to “like” the
Empire 8 Athletic Conference page in order to stay connected with the conference.
In addition to Facebook, the Empire 8 is promoting its Twitter account,
@Empire8. Followers can keep up with athletic events and announcements from around the conference.

@ChuckMitrano for a behind the scenes look into the E8 and commentary on athletics/sports.
Social media allows students, alumni and fans to be aware of the Empire 8’s happenings daily. By using Facebook and Twitter, the conference can communicate with its constituents on a regular basis allowing growth of the Empire 8 fan base.
