Ithaca 92, Stevens 55
The Ithaca College women’s basketball team (15-2, 7-1 Empire 8) dominated visiting Stevens Institute of Technology (8-9, 3-4 Empire 8), 92-55, on Friday evening at Ben Light Gymnasium.

The Bombers posted a 10-point gap at the five-minute mark of the first and owned a 44-27 advantage at the half. Ithaca continued to control action in the latter half, taking a 20-point lead at 17:45. Ithaca ran away with the game taking a 77-47 advantage at 5:59 en route to its highest point total of the season.

Nazareth 59, Alfred 56
Nazareth hung on to defeat Alfred College 59-56 in Empire 8 women’s basketball Friday night. Alfred’s Sarah Federico scored a three-pointer with six seconds remaining in the game to pull the Saxons within one point, 57-56.  Nazareth’s Erica Shaw was fouled on the next possession and sank both of her free throws to secure the 59-56 win for the Golden Flyers. Harley Cleary's desperation three-point attempt glanced off the rim in the closing seconds to preserve the Golden Flyers' victory.

Hartwick 62, Elmira 44
Hartwick shot just under 60% from the floor and held Elmira to less than 29% shooting in a 62-44 Empire 8 victory for the Hawks Friday night at Speidel Gymnasium. The win is the Hawks' eighth straight and they improve their overall mark this season to 15-3. 'Wick also stays flawless in league play with a 7-0 record.

St. John Fisher 60, Utica 44
The St. John Fisher College women's basketball program won its fourth straight game on Friday night, as the Cardinals used a second-half rally to defeat visiting Utica College 60-44 at Fisher's Bobby Wanzer Court in a pivotal Empire 8 Conference matchup.

With the win, Fisher improves to 9-10 overall and 6-4 in the Empire 8, while Utica falls to 9-10, 5-4.

The win avenges a 63-59 loss in overtime to Utica earlier this month and moves the Cardinals into third place in the Empire 8 standings.
