Rissmeyer Named NYSCTC Field Athlete of the Week
ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Amanda Rissmeyer scored 30 points to help lead the Bombers to the team title at the Empire 8 Championships on Saturday. She was named NYSCTC Field Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Rissmeyer won the high jump with an ECAC-qualifying clear of 1.63 meters, was the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.54, finished third in the long jump with a mark of 5.10 meters and placed third in the shot put with a heave of 11.30 meters. She ranks in the top five on the NYSCTC performance list in all four events.
Ithaca returns to action on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 2-3, hosting the Bomber Invitational/Multi at the Athletics & Events Center.
