Nazareth places third at Airfield Invitational

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Nazareth traveled to Oneonta for the Airfield Invitational on Saturday and finished third overall. Senior
Matt Fedrizzi was ninth overall in the men's 8-kilometer race with a time of 27:03.
RPI won the men's meet with five finishers taking the top five spots for a perfect score of 15 points. Oneonta was second with 52 points, followed by Nazareth in third with 101 points.
Following Fedrizzi for the Golden Flyers was sophomore
Patrick Neureuter, who placed 40th overall with a time of 29:24. Freshman
Ethan Osborne was seven places behind Neureuter with a time of 29:53. Freshman
Thomas Lannon (30:30) was 51st overall followed by classmate
Matt Battaglia (31:08) who was 52nd. Senior
Jake Lafaver finished in 53rd place with a time of 31:14.

Jacob Murray and senior
Zack Lafaver rounded out the Golden Flyers' finishers in 55th and 56th-place, respectively. Murray's time was 31:39 while Lafaver crossed the line with a time of 31:44.
Nazareth is off until October 26th when the Golden Flyers travel to Clinton, N.Y. for the NYSCTC Championships.
