FORT MEYERS, Fla. (October 12, 2013)
 – Senior Lisa Tessitore and junior Jessica Bourque of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team took seventh place in doubles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College National Championships in Fort Meyers, Fla.
 
The duo reached the event with a win at the ITA Northeast Regional, becoming the first players in Stevens tennis history – men or women – to earn ITA All-America status and a trip to the national event.
 
The Ducks went 1-2 overall, falling 6-3, 6-2 to the No. 1 seed Sonja Meighan and patricia Kirland of Washington and Lee and by the same score in the first consolation match. They earned a win to lock up seventh place in the nation, going 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 over Kara Lefsrund and Bridget Noack of St. Thomas.
