Nunez Places Eighth At ITA Small College Championships
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Ithaca College women's tennis player
Cristina Nunez (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) dropped her first-round match at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College Championships in the Division III women's singles bracket. Nunez fell 6-1, 6-1 to the tournament's third seed, Michelle Satterfield of Emory. Nunez continued play in the consolation bracket on Friday morning. Nunez fell to Megan Humphreys of Wisconsin-Whitewater 6-2, 6-1. Nunez concluded tournament play with a 6-2, 6-1 loss in the seventh-place match on Saturday against Melissa Goodman of Emory.
