Two Bombers Earn National Team Of The Week Honors

Mike Vulcano earned the weekly awards.
Oliver turned in one of the game's biggest plays with a 63-yard punt return touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Bombers a 10-point advantage. Earlier in the second half, Oliver helped change field position with a 33-yard punt return. His touchdown run-back was the first by an Ithaca player since 2011, and the first that Buffalo State had allowed since 2004. He also had 46 return yards on kickoffs and was named Empire 8 Special Teams Player of the Week.
Vulcano was one of the leaders on the Bomber defense with eight tackles, and contributed on a tackle for loss. He also had an interception, the first of his career.
