Ithaca Clocks Season-Best Times at Oberlin's Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio – Six of Ithaca College's top seven runners clocked season-best performances to lead the Bomber women's cross country team to a ninth-place finish out of 34 teams Saturday at the Oberlin's Inter-Regional Rumble.
Junior
Alexa Rick (Elyria, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) led the Bombers with a season-best six-kilometer finish of 22:39.30 to place 36th out of 284 runners. Graduate student
Jenn Randall (Cincinnatus, N.Y./Cincinnatus Central) followed in 54th with a 23:01.90 finish.
Ithaca's next five finished in season-best times.
Sophomore
Jaime Lisack (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) and junior
Hannah Wright (Tamworth, N.H./Kennett) crossed the finish line in 65th and 67th, respectively, with times of 23:13.50 and 23:14.50.
Juniors
Emily Smith (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) and
Meghan Cass (Huntington Beach, Calif./Edison) finished back-to-back with finishes of 23:25.80 and 23:26.30 in 77th and 78th. Classmate
Carolyn Malone (Rochester, N.Y./Eastridge) rounded out the Bombers' top seven with a 93rd-place finish of 23:39.50.
The Bombers will next compete Friday, Oct. 25 at Cornell's Reif Invitational and Saturday, Oct. 26 at the NYSCTC Championship at Hamilton.
