AFCA and D3 Polls Feature E8 Teams

On the heels of a 42-35 win against then-No. 19 St. John Fisher College on Saturday, the Salisbury University football team has climbed back into the D3football.com top 25 poll, landing at No. 24. 

Salisbury earned 51 points in this week's poll, just ahead of St. John Fisher, which fell to No. 25 (45 points) following Saturday's contest. Ithaca College is among teams also receiving votes.

The University of Mount Union sits atop the poll with 609 points and 16 first-place votes. Linfield College is second with 597 points and six first-place votes and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor rounds out the top three with 591 points and three first-place votes.

The American Football Coaches Association poll also has the Cardinals ranked at No. 25, while the Sea Gulls are also receiving votes.

Salisbury returns to action on Saturday, October 26, traveling to Hartwick College for a 2 p.m., kickoff.

Fisher will close out its three-game road trip at 1 p.m Saturday against Ithaca.
