Rochester, NY -- The Elmira College field hockey team (4-11) dropped a 7-0 decision on the road to number 18 nationally ranked University of Rochester (14-4). EC Goalie

The Yellowjackets wasted little time in today's contest as they scored the game's opening goal at the 3:52 mark of the first half. Rochester would go on to score four more times before the half came to a close, giving them a 5-0 lead at halftime. Following the half, Rochester would add another three goals to seal the 7-0 victory.
Elmira will look to bounce back from today's defeat as the Soaring Eagles travel to take on Houghton College in EC's season finale on Saturday, November 2nd. Game time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
