Marguerite Chavez Selected for Front Rush/NFHCA Division III Senior Game

Marguerite Chavez (Oceanport, N.J.) was selected to participate in the 2013 Front Rush/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior game, it was announced October 30.
Chavez is Stevens' all-time leader in points and currently has the Ducks at 12-5 overall. The veteran leader currently has 48 points on the back of 16 goals and 16 assists this season with five of her tallies being of the game-winning variety.
The Oceanport, N.J. native is currently fifth nationally in assists per game, 15th in points per game and No. 31 in goals per game. She is second in program history in goals with 50 and already leads the program in assists with 43.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 23 in Virginia Beach, Va. at 4 p.m.
Stevens completed is second-straight perfect Empire 8 regular season and has now won its last 20 regular-season Empire 8 tilts. The Ducks will visit No. 14 Skidmore College Saturday afternoon before hosting the Empire 8 Championship November 9 and 10 at the De Baun Athletic Complex.
