Dunbar, Seddon and Stecyk Earn Academic All-District Honors

Men's soccer standouts Stephan Dunbar, Curtis Stecyk and Paul Seddon have been honored as a Capital One Academic All-District honoree for 2013. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Dunbar, a senior forward, and Stecyk, a senior midfielder, of the No. 5 Stevens Institute of Technology (13-1-1) men's soccer team were named to the District 2 team.
Dunbar is a repeat All-District selection and boasts a 3.43 grade point average while majoring in chemical engineering. Dunbar has started all 15 games this season, and is third on the squad with 15 points (6g, 3a)
Stecyk studies mechanical engineering and carries a 3.77 gpa. He controls the tempo of the game from his midfield position where he has producted two goals and three assists.
Seddon, a senior midfielder from
Wirral, England, was a District 4 selection, which encompasses all of New York state. He is Houghton's second leading scorer with six goals and four assists for 16 points. The Highlanders are 13-2-1 on the season and ranked ninth in the East Region. In the classroom, Seddone has a 3.63 grade-point average as a Bible major.
