Stevens to Host NCAA First and Second Round Saturday and Sunday

HOBOKEN, N.J. (November 11, 2013) – The Empire 8 Champion Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will host the first and second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Saturday and Sunday at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J.
The Ducks will battle Baruch College Saturday at 5 p.m. The other match will feature Mount Saint Mary College and York College (Pa.) at 7:30 p.m., with the winners squaring off Sunday at 5 p.m.
Stevens earned the Empire 8's automatic berth to the tournament with a 2-0 win over Utica College Saturday night. The Ducks are on an 11-match winning streak and boast an overall record of 16-1-1.
The Bearcats earned a berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament by defeating CCNY, 1-0, in the CUNYAC Championship played Saturday.
York won the CAC crown to earn its way into the tournament, while MSMC pocketed its first-ever Skyline title en route to an automatic berth as well.
