Elmira Earns Two Seed in ECAC Championships
Centerville, MA -- The EC women's volleyball season will continue this weekend as the Soaring Eagles have earned the number two seed in the ECAC Division III Upstate-Metro Volleyball Championship.
The Soaring Eagles are coming off a semifinal loss to Nazareth College in the Empire 8 Championships, but carry a 21-12 record into their ECAC Semifinal matchup with the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, their fourth consecutive 20-win season.
Kean University was awarded the number one seed and will be hosting the entire event on Saturday, November 16th with the semifinals and finals being played at times to be announced later this week. The five-team tournament will begin on Wednesday, November 13th as Sage College and Hunter College will play for a berth in the semifinals.
