MXC Races at ECAC championships
Cross country teams traveled to Colt State Park (Bristol, RI) Saturday in heart of the Rhode Island State Park System to compete in the 2013 ECAC Division III Championships.
Alfred freshman Kevin Dixon placed 75th overall in 27:38.69. Freshman Luke Tesoriero was 133rd (28:40.27) and senior Nolan Rummel was 187th (29:34.13).
Utica sophomore Corey Zlatninski placed in the third percentile for the men finishing 108th overall, out of the 307 runner field, clocking a time of 28:19.82. Zlatniski averaged a 5:42 mile missing the top 100 by just .15.
Stevens averaged 28:09.22 on the 8K course between its top seven runners. Freshman Michael Reilly paced the Ducks in 78th overall with a time of 27:41.40. Reilly shaved 18 seconds off his personal best at the championship.
Freshman Michael John posted a time of 27:51.34 to finish 89th individually, while sophomore Zach McKeehan cross the line in 28:13.96.
Another freshman, Finley Simonds completed the course in 28:21.65, and junior Nicholas Chapel was next for the Ducks at 28:37.74.
