Ithaca v Lasell | Baruch
The Ithaca College volleyball team (16-19) defeated Lasell (16-13), 3-1 (26-24, 22-25, 25-14, 25-14), and took Baruch (15-15) in four, 3-1 (25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 25-14), Friday at Oneonta's Dig Pink Invitational.

Justine Duryea (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y./Cornwall Central) powered to a career-high 17 kills, while hitting .282 against Lasell. Freshman

In the night's second match, Duryea again led the Bombers hitting .469 with 16 kills and just one error on 32 swings. Schmidt added 15 and junior
Rylie Bean (Blasdell, N.Y./Frontier) 12. Brown posted 25 assists and Garone 22. Idziur added a match-best five aces. Duryea dug 19 balls and Gawinski Stern 16.
Nazareth v RIT | NYU
Nazareth opened the New York Challenge at RIT with a three-set victory over the host Tigers before falling to NYU in five sets. The scores of the match against RIT were 25-22, 25-20, 25-14. Against NYU, the scores were 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, 15-25, 15-12. Junior
Kassandra Buseck had a match-high nine kills against RIT then amassed 23 kills against NYU.
The Golden Flyers stand at 26-7 overall following Friday's matches. The Tigers fell to 14-23 overall with the loss. NYU improves to 23-5 overall after defeating Nazareth. With the loss, the Golden Flyers' 11-match win streak was snapped.

Chelsea Beecher added six kills against RIT. A total of eight Golden Flyers tallied kills as Nazareth's balanced attack overwhelmed RIT.Freshman
Madi Wickens finished the match with 23 assists to lead all players as she directed Nazareth's attack. The Golden Flyers finished with 32 kills and only six hitting errors. Nazareth converted 13 kills in the first set, 12 kills in the second, and eight in the third. The Golden Flyers converted their second-set kills without any attack errors. Nazareth had hitting percentages of .242, .444, and .273 during the three sets.
Defensively, the Golden Flyers held the Tigers to 19 kills and forced 16 attack errors. RIT had hitting percentages of .185, -.036, and -.040. Freshman
Maureen Thayer finished the match with a team-high 10 digs to thwart the Tigers' attacks. Sophomore
Melissa Kline also had eight digs.
Against NYU, beecher and Allocco finished with 12 kills and 10 kills, respectively, in addition to Buseck's kills. Wickens tallied 42 assists.
Thayer and Beecher stymied many attempts by the Violets for Nazareth's defense. Thayer finished with 32 digs while Beecher had 14 digs.
Stevens v Clarkson | RIT
The Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball split its matches on the first day of the New York State Challenge hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday night. Stevens fell to No. 24 Clarkson University to open the evening and then swept RIT to finish the night with a 25-6 record.
In just the second match of the season that the Ducks failed to win a set, 26-24, 25-15, 25-13, junior
Katie Hall (Midlothian, Va.) and freshman
Christina Sciarra (Montclair, N.J.) paced Stevens offensively with seven kills apiece. Hall hit .263 with three digs, while Sciarra added a dig in the loss.
Senior
Samantha Gates (Wilmington, N.C.) dished out 26 assists with 11 digs and two service aces, while junior
Kirsten Salmins (Wyckoff, N.J.) led all players with 21 digs. With the 21 digs in the opener, Salmins became just the second Stevens women's volleyball player to go over 600 digs in a season.
Senior
Mary Caulson (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman
Mary Tobin (Boothwyn, Pa.) each put down six kills. Causlon also contributed three digs and Tobin tallied nine more.
Sophomore
Annemarie Thomas (Durham, N.C.) hit a team-best .333 with five kills in 12 swings to go along with three digs.
Clarkson (29-6) hit .324 in the match, while the Ducks hit at just a .123 clip.
In the sweep of RIT (14-24), 25-15, 25-19, 25-13, Stevens outhit the Tigers, .133 to .000. Tobin led the Ducks in the nightcap with eight kills, a match-high 21 digs and three aces, while Caulson was close behind with seven kills, nine digs and three solo blocks.
Gates dished out 21 more assists and Salmins registered 12 more digs. Sciarra added four kills with three block assists.
Hall scored three aces and two kills, while Thomas pitched in three kills. Sophomore
Catie Shelton (Central Square, N.Y.) added eight digs.
Hartwick v Plattsburgh | Montclair
Hartwick volleyball took both Plattsburgh and Montclair to the limit Friday night at the Oneonta State Dig Pink Invitational. The Hawks, however, would come up just short in both matches, dropping both in five sets.
In the Hawks' opener against the Cardinals, 'Wick jumped out to a 2-0 lead after taking the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-15. Plattsburgh would respond in the third, 25-16, and evened the match at 2-2 in the fourth, 25-15. In the fifth set, the Cardinals would outlast the Hawks 15-10 to take the victory.

Dana Martin (Chester, NY/Burke Catholic) notched a double-double with 11 kills and a team-best 12 digs for 'Wick. Freshman
Hannah Armstrong (Lansing, NY/Lansing) registered a career-high 39 assists in the match and sophomore
Hannah Strom (Kenmore, WA/Inglemoor) recorded 12 kills, five aces, and five digs.
Senior
Katie Ryan (Circleville, NY/Pine Bush) contributed nine kills and a team-best three blocks.
Christina Vitale(Port Jefferson Station, NY/St. John the Baptist) had 13 digs and freshman
Alyssa Zeitler (Chardon, OH/Berkshire) added 12.
In the Hawks' second match, 'Wick dominated the Red Hawks in the opening set as it came out on top by a margin of 25-13. Montclair evened the match in the second, 25-20, and took the lead in the third, 25-18. Hartwick again turned it on in the fourth with a resounding 25-14 win to force the deciding set. The Red Hawks, however, would come away with the 3-2 victory, 15-6 in the fifth set.
Martin had her second straight double-double with team-bests of 11 kills and 13 digs to pace the Hawks. She added six aces. Strom added a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs.
Armstrong dished out 30 assists for a 69-assist night to go along with seven digs.
Taylor Vonasek (Willington, CT/E.O. Smith) secured seven kills and Vitale picked up eight digs.
