ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Nazareth women's swimming and diving team was in action Friday evening at the University of Rochester. The Yellowjackets defeated the Golden Flyers by the score of 196.5-97.5. Sophomore
Kimberly Pedrotti won the women's 400-yard IM with a time of 4:57.44. Senior
Emily Sauter tied for first in the women's 50-yard freestyle with a time of :25.25 with Rochester's Khamai Simpson.
In the women's meet, Sauter added a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :54.9. Pedrotti also had another top finish as she placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:22.24. Teammate
Brittany Friedrich finished just ahead of Pedrotti in the 1000-yard event with a time of 11:18.44.
The Golden Flyers' women's team had several swimmers finish second in their events, including junior
Emma Dorschel in the 500-yard freestyle 5:34.11), sophomore
Nicole Charette in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:38.96), and freshman
Bridget Geary in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.94).
Nazareth is in action again December 6th-8th at the Bomber Invitational in Ithaca.
