Zoltowski Tabbed ECAC Player of the Week
After leading the Elmira College women's basketball team to their third straight win, senior
Jessica Zoltowski has been named the
Corvias ECAC Division III Upstate Player of the Week. Zoltowski is averaging 21.5 points per game this season which places her 20th amongst the nation's leading scorers.
Zoltowski paced the Soaring Eagles to a pair of non-conference wins this week over Sage College and Clarkson University. Over two games, she averaged 26.5 points and eight rebounds while making six steals and one block. She recorded 20-plus points in both of Elmira's wins, marking the 13th consecutive game she has recorded double-digits.
Her 25 points in Sunday's 59-53 win over Clarkson vaulted Zoltowski into second place in career points (1,212) in Elmira College history, becoming just the third player in program history to reach the 1,200 point plateau.
Elmira will be back on the court this Saturday, December 14th when they travel to Williamsport, PA for a non-conference game against Penn Tech.
