Men’s Basketball Player – Ithaca
Frank Mitchell, Senior, Forward – Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough
Senior Frank Mitchell scored 19 points in the Bombers' game against Skidmore last week, giving him 1,015 points in his career. Mitchell is the 24th player in the history of the program to score 1,000 points, and the first since Sean Rossi accomplished the feat last season. Mitchell also added five steals and two assists.
Men’s Basketball Rookie – St. John Fisher
Keegan Ryan, Freshman, Forward – Plattsburgh, NY/Beekmantown
Keegan Ryan notched his second double-double of the season, scoring 15 points togo along with 10 rebounds as the St. John Fisher College men's basketball team lost a heart breaker to SUNY Oneonta 67-65 on Saturday. The freshman forward leads Fisher with 14.3 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per contest.
Women’s Basketball Player – Houghton
Stephany Ellison, Junior, Guard – Whitesville, NY/Whitesville
Stephany Ellison netted a team-best 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Highlanders’ 73-58 win over Canton on Friday. She shot 47% from the field (8-of-17) and contributed seven assists.

Men’s Indoor Track Athlete – St. John Fisher
Trevor Wilkes, Sophomore – Honeoye Falls, NY/Honeoye Falls-Lima
Trevor Wilkes had a strong showing for the St. John Fisher College men's track and field team as the sophomore sprinter established a new program record in the 200 meter dash after posting a time of 23.26 which was good for second place at the RIT Early Season Invite. Wilkes was also part of the 1600 meter relay team that also finished in second place after finishing with a time of 3:32.29.
Men’s Indoor Field Athlete – Nazareth
Luis Rivera, Sophomore – Rochester, NY/James Monroe
Luis Rivera shattered his own school record in the 35-pound weight throw for the second week in a row as he finished second at the RIT Early Season Invitational. Rivera's toss of 15.37 meters (50 feet, 5 1/4 inches) was nearly four inches farther than his previous best throw from Dec. 7 at Brockport.
Women’s Indoor Track Athlete – St. John Fisher
Morgan Mastin, Junior – Springwater, NY/Wayland-Cohocton
Morgan Mastin was the highlight for the St. John Fisher College women's track and field team this past week at the RIT Early Season Invite after securing a second place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.19 to set a new school record. Mastin was also a member of the 1600 meter relay team that finished in first-place after posting a time of 4:17.54.
Women’s Indoor Field Athlete – Nazareth
Taylor Pierson, Sophomore – Wellsburg, NY/Southside
Taylor Pierson won the long jump with a leap of 5.50 meters (18 feet, 0 1/2 inches) as the Nazareth women’s track and field team fared well at the RIT Early Season Invite. She also broke her own five-day-old record in the 60-meter dash with a second-place time of 8.18 seconds.
