Ithaca Women's T&F Team Improves National Standing, Ranks 13th

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team ranks 13th in the week four rankings of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll with 48.65 points, a 12-spot improvement from last week. The Bombers also rank second in the Atlantic Region poll to match their week three ranking.

Ithaca has eight top performances that earn points toward their total of 48.65.

Senior Jenn Randall ranks fifth in the nation with a school-record 800-meter run performance of 2:14.66.

Sophomore Harmony Graves sits 18th in the 60 dash and 26th in the 400 with times of 7.89 and 59.42.

Randall and Graves teamed with sophomore Emily Smith and freshman Michaela Cioffredi to clock a 12:14.50 DMR. The time ranks ninth nationally. They also ran with freshman Eliza Dewart and junior Martyann Chromik on a 4:01.13 1,600-relay team that ranks 15th.

Senior Amanda Rissmeyer ranks nationally in the top 10 in a pair of events. She sits fifth in the pentathlon with a 3,366-point performance and sixth in the high jump with a clear of 1.68 meters.

Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker ranks ninth nationally with a mark of 11.54 meters in the triple jump.

Ithaca is second in the Division III dual meet rankings with 146.29 points.

The Bombers return to action on Friday, Feb. 15 at the NYU Fastrack Team Challenge at the Armory.
