Ithaca Women's T&F Team Ranks 23rd in Week Six National Standings
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team ranks 23rd in the
week six rankings of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll with 32.67 points, a three-spot drop from last week. The Bombers also rank second in the
Atlantic Region poll to match their week five ranking.
Ithaca has six top performances that earned points toward their total.
Senior Jenn Randall ranks 11th in the nation with a school-record 800-meter run performance of 2:14.66. She also sits 24th with a mile run time of 5:01.81.
Sophomore Harmony Graves sits 30th in the 60 dash with a time of 7.89.
Senior Amanda Rissmeyer ranks nationally in the top 10 in a pair of events. She sits fourth in the pentathlon with a 3,366-point performance and eighth in the high jump with a clear of 1.68 meters.
Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker ranks 11th nationally with a mark of 11.65 meters in the triple jump.
Ithaca is fourth in the
Division III dual meet rankings with 149.40 points.
The Bombers return to action on Friday and Saturday, March 1-2 at the ECAC Indoor T&F Championships at the Armory.
