Ithaca sophomore Mason Mann was named Empire 8 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week and Stevens Institute of Technology senior Victor Servito was named the Field Athlete of the Week.

On Saturday at the Bomber Invitational Multi, Mann won the 500-meter run with a Glazer Arena facility record of 1:07.14. The time qualified him for the ECAC Indoor Championships. He was also part of the distance medley relay team that won the race in 10:18.18, a performance that ranks second in Division III and meets the ECAC qualifier.

Ithaca returns to action on Friday, Feb. 8 hosting the Ithaca Quad Meet.

Servito placed second overall amongst 23 competitors in the heptathlon at the Bomber Multi Invitational with a school-record 4,577 points and currently ranks 15th in the nation with that performance. He was runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.69 seconds. Servito also took fourth in high jump (1.84 meters), long jump (6.39 meters) and pole vault (3.85 meters).

The Teaneck, N.J. native re-established his own Stevens record in the heptathlon by nearly 300 points. In last year's Crowell Invitational on January 7, Servito accumulated a point total of 4,279 and finished fifth overall.

Stevens will be back in action on February 15 at the NYC Division III Challenge before taking part in the ECAC Championships on March 1-2.
