Nine Teams and 86 Student-Athletes Recognized by NFHCA with Academic Honors
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announced the 2012 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Squad and Team Award honorees. All nine Empire 8 teams were recognized by the NFHCA in addition to 86 student-athletes.
The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
