Ithaca Women's T&F Team Ranks 13th Nationally Entering NCAA Competition

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team ranks 13th in the week seven rankings of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll with 50.54 points, a 10-spot improvement from last week. Ithaca has five top performances that earned points toward its total.

Senior Jenn Randall ranks 13th in the nation with an 800-meter run performance of 2:14.66. She also sits seventh with a converted mile run time of 4:58.81.

Senior Amanda Rissmeyer ranks fifth nationally in a pair of events. She does so in the pentathlon with a 3,366-point performance and in the high jump with a clear of 1.69 meters.

Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker also sits fifth nationally with a school-record mark of 12.00 meters in the triple jump.

The trio will join Nazareth's Taylor Pierson and Steven's Alina Duran at the NCAA Indoor T&F Championships on March 8-9 at North Central College.
