Rissmeyer and Randall Snag All-America Accolades at NCAA Championships

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Seniors Amanda Rissmeyer and Jenn Randall each earned all-America finishes on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at North Central College. Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker also competed, finishing one spot shy of all-America accolades.
Rissmeyer placed sixth in the high jump clearing 1.65 meters on her first attempt. In her fourth championship appearance, she also competed in the pentathlon on Friday.
Randall set the mile run school record of 4:54.98 on Friday in the preliminaries before placing eighth in the finals on Saturday with a 4:58.65 finish. In her third appearance at the NCAA meet, Randall also competed in the 800-meter run prelims Friday.
Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker, making her NCAA Championship debut, placed ninth in the triple jump. Scheemaker, who holds the school record with a mark of 12.00 meters, hit 11.47 meters on her first attempt.
