Baseball Player of the Week – St. John Fisher
Brad Rush, Junior, First basemen – Albion, NY/Charles D’Amico
 
Brad Rush batted 6-for-12 this week in four games for St. John Fisher. He recorded at least one hit in each game, extending his hit streak to five games and marking the 15th game with a hit this season. In the opener against the Ducks on Friday, Rush picked up his sixth double of the season to help the Cardinals to a 10-7 win. He then added a RBI single in a 9-5 loss.  Rush hit two home runs on Saturday, a solo shot in Fisher's 6-1 win over the Ducks, and a three-run homer in the 6-5 loss. He completed the four game series with five runs scores, six RBI, two walks, a .533 on base percentage and 1.083 slugging percentage.
 
Baseball Pitcher of the Week – Ithaca
Pat Lemmo, Senior  – Syracuse, NY/Westhill
 
Ithaca starter Pat Lemmo had seven strikeouts, allowed six hits and one earned run in 10 innings of the Bombers' 2-1 win in 13 innings over Oswego. Four of the six hits he allowed were infield hits.
 
Softball Player of the Week – St. John Fisher
Kayla Goodberlet, Senior, Third baseman – Columbus, OH/Bishop Ready
 
Kayla Goodberlet hit six home runs over four games including two multi HR outings to lead the Cardinals to a 5-1 week. Over the course of six games she racked up 12 RBI and batted 10-for-15 (.667), which led to an impressive slugging percentage of 2.067. She led the way against Rochester on March 27, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two runs batted in during the first game. In the nightcap, she finished with two hits and scored three times, including the first run of the game with a solo shot in the first inning. On March 28, Goodberlet became the 10th player in NCAA Division III softball history to hit two home runs in the same inning, as the Cardinals cruised to two wins over visiting Medaille College.  Goodberlet went 3-for-4 with three home runs and six RBI in the two games, including two home runs in the first inning of the first game. On March 30, she drew two intentional walks after hitting two home runs against RIT. She finished the series 3-of-4 from the plate with three RBI.
 
Softball Pitcher of the Week – Elmira
Alex Puglisi, Junior – Shelton, CT/Trumbull
 
Alex Puglisi earned three shutout wins, including two over Utica College, as she struck out 25 batters while allowing just seven hits. Against Morrisville she gave up one hit, while striking out 10 batters in the 8-0 shutout win Friday evening. On Saturday against Utica she pitched 14 straight innings allowing only six hits, while striking out 15 batters. She helped Elmira earn a 1-0 victory and 4-0 victory over the Pioneers. In 39 innings pitched so far this season she has allowed only 19 hits and six runs, while striking out 44 batters and earning an ERA of 0.72.
 
Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week – St. John Fisher
Ryan Freije, Senior, Midfield – Port Crane, NY/Chenango Forks
 
Ryan Freije won 15-of-18 faceoffs in a 12-7 win over Hartwick College on March 30. He also scooped up a team-high nine ground balls and scored his first career goal during the third quarter after winning a faceoff and taking it right to goal. Fisher trailed 4-2 during the second quarter, but pulled away after that, scoring 10 of the game's next 11 goals.
 
Men’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week – Utica
Trey Adams, Freshman – Hogansburg, NY/Brewster Academy
 
Freshman Trey Adams recorded his third win of the season on March 29 as he matched his season-high with 15 saves. He allowed nine goals in the Pioneers 10-9 overtime win over Misericordia. Adams posted a 62.5 save percentage in 64 minutes of action and tallied three groundballs.
 
Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week - Utica
Morgan Dupont, Sophomore, Attack – Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park
 
Sophomore Morgan DuPont helped lead the Pioneers to a 2-0 week, extending their program best start to a 6-1 record. DuPont chipped in with two goals in the Pioneers 10-5 win over Oswego on March 26. She bounced back in their Empire 8 Conference opener leading the team to a 13-5 win over Hartwick College on March 30. DuPont recorded four goals and one assist, good enough for five points. She only missed two of her six shots on goal and added two groundballs on the day.
 
Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week – Nazareth
Tara Prosak, Junior – Jamesville, NY/Jamesville-DeWitt
 
Tara Prosak made 18 saves in 90 minutes of action for a 69.2 save percentage. She had a season-high 14 saves in Nazareth's 9-8 non-conference win over RIT on March 26. Prosak had four saves and allowed no goals in the first half of Saturday's 17-3 win over Alfred.
 
Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Michael Cahill, Senior – Clark, NJ/Union Catholic
 
Junior Michael Cahill (Clark, N.J.) finished as the runner-up in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:11.65 at the Monmouth Invitational. Cahill qualified for ECAC's and set a new school standard by 20 seconds.
 
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week – Utica
William Bailey, Junior – East Granby, CT/East Granby
 
Junior William Bailey was the top performer for the Utica men’s team at the Hamilton Invitational. He posted two second place finishes in the javelin throw and the hammer throw. Bailey recorded a throw of 54.60 meters in the javelin and 38.01 meters for the hammer throw.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Ashley Princiotta, Senior – Manalapan, NJ/St. John Vianney
 
Senior Ashley Princiotta rounded out the highlights for the women at Monmouth with a personal best and school record in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:53.37. Princiotta's time topped the old mark by 11 seconds set back in 2008.
 
Women’s Outdoor co-Field Athlete of the Week – Utica
Kelcei Edmonds, Freshman – Pittsburgh, PA/ Shady Side Academy
 
Freshman Kelcei Edmonds took home the first place finish in the shot put at Hamilton on March 30. The first year member threw for 11.63 meters. The throw not only earned her the first place finish but she also broke the school’s all-time shot put record of 10.79 in her first-ever meet with Utica.
 
Women’s Outdoor co-Field Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Alexandra Doyle, Freshman – Colts Neck, NJ/Colts Neck
 
Freshman Alexandra Doyle set a school record and qualified for ECAC's with a mark of 36.97 meters (121 feet, 3 inches) in the discus to place 10th overall. Doyle surpassed the old record by more than six meters which was set back in 2001.
 
Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week – St. John Fisher
Chris Blyth, Sophomore – Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon
 
The St. John Fisher College men's golf team shot a two day total of 608, good enough for first place at the McDaniel Spring Invitational in Abbottstown, Pa. Sophomore Chris Blyth shot a 75 on the first day, just a stroke off the lead to stand in third place and came back with a 74 on Sunday to finish as the tournament's medalist, totaling a 149 (+5). He had three birdies throughout the two-day tournament.
