CENTERVILLE, MA- For the second time this week, senior attackman Harry Hughes (Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) has received player of the week accolades, this time from the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).  On Wednesday he was named the Mid-Atlantic Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Last Saturday in a 12-8 win at Elmira, Hughes scored five times to become Hartwick's all-time leading goal scorer in 49 years of 'Wick men's lacrosse. His fifth tally of the game gave him 176 goals for his four-year career, one better than former record holder Ian Ritcey's 175 set in 1995. Hughes also scored three times last Wednesday in a 10-6 loss to Utica. For the season, he has a conference-best 36 goals and nine assists for 45 points. He also leads the Empire 8 in man-up goals and shots and he ranks sixth in the country in scoring.

Hartwick will host Empire 8 rival Nazareth on Saturday at Wright Stadium. Game time will be at 3 p.m.
