Ithaca Women's Track & Field Team Sits Fourth in Atlantic Region Rankings
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team ranks fourth in
week two of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Atlantic Region poll announced Wednesday. Ithaca ranked third in the week one poll.
The Bombers have three top performances receiving national recognition thus far this season. Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker ranks 17th with a school-record mark of 11.62 meters in the triple jump. Senior Amanda Rissmeyer sits 27th with a 1.65-meter clear in the high jump and freshman Brooke Zimmerman is 35th nationally with a 39.58-meter toss in the javelin.
Ithaca will return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 at Moravian's Coach P Invitational.
