The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its weekly top 20 poll and the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s team improved to No. 6, while Ithaca College fell to No. 20.  St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College are among teams also receiving votes.

The Ducks climbed up one spot from last week after a 17-7 triumph against Utica College and jumped Tufts University who had a 1-1 week with a 12-10 loss to Endicott College.

The Bombers suffered a 13-6 setback to previously fifth-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology on April 10 but two days later dominiated Fisher, 11-3.  Ithaca held the Cardinals to their fewest goals since falling 11-3 at Ithaca on March 21, 2007.

Nazareth prevailed 18-10 against Hartwick College on April 13. Earlier in the week, the Golden Flyers were tied 6-6 at halftime with Alfred but the game was suspended due to thunder and lightning. The game will resume on April 16 at 4:30 pm.
