Ithaca Men's Track & Field Team Competes at Moravian Coach P Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ithaca College men’s track & field team competed at Moravian’s Coach P Invitational Friday and Saturday.
Junior Brendan Wilkins and the Bombers’ 4x100-meter relay team met ECAC qualifiers at the meet.
Wilkins placed fifth in the high jump with a clear of 1.93 meters. Sophomore Rashaad Barrett, freshman Jordan Smith, sophomore Kevin Davis and junior Jake Willis teamed together to place fifth in the 400 relay with a season-best time of 42.80.
Barrett also placed 10th overall in the 100 dash clocking a time of 11.40.
Ithaca had three top-10 finishers in the 800 run. Sophomore Mason Mann led the Bombers with a sixth-place finish of 1:57.97. Senior Billy Savage followed in seventh with a time of 1:58.30 and sophomore Niko Athanasatos placed 10th in 1:58.69.
Junior Jarrod Monacelli and sophomore Steven Episcopo each cleared 4.10 meters in the pole vault to finish in a tie for seventh place.
The Bombers will return to action on Saturday, April 20 at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships hosted by Nazareth.
