Fisher Track and Field Teams Compete At Roberts Wesleyan
The St. John Fisher College men's and women's track and field teams made the best of poor weather conditions at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.
Kyle Barry broke his own record in the hammer throw and placed eighth overall with a distance of 42.79 meters. meeting A-Standard for the NYSCTC Championship. He also set the Fisher record in the discus as well.
Kyle Koehler set a new Fisher record in the shot put with a distance of 14.10 meter. The distance was one-tenth of a meter ahy of qualifying for ECACs and was good for third overall.
Trevor Wilkes was third in the 400 and fourth in the 200. Chris Wehner reached the finals in the 110 hurdles and was fifth overall.
On the women's side, fellow thrower Paige Willson was second overall at 11.09 meters. Danyelle Redmond took third in the pole vault, while Nicoletta Lattuca made it to the finals in the 100 and placed sixth, missing NYSCTC A-standard time by just .01 of a second.
