Blyth Honored by the Empire 8 with Weekly Award
The Empire 8 Conference has honored St. John Fisher College's Chris Blyth of the men’s golf team as the Player of the Week.
Fisher shot a two-day total of 608, good enough for first place at the McDaniel Spring Invitational in Abbottstown, PA. Blyth shot a 75 on the first day, just a stroke off the lead to stand in third place and came back with a 74 on Sunday to finish as the tournament's medalist, totaling a 149 (+5). He had three birdies throughout the two-day tournament.
