Bombers Move Up In Baseball Rankings
The Ithaca College baseball team moved up in both national polls when they were released Tuesday morning, then went on the road and defeated Oneonta 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon. The Bombers improved to 26-6 on the season while Oneonta fell to 10-22.
Ithaca moved from 20th to 18th in the
D3baseball.com poll and remained 14th in the
BaseballNews.com Division III rankings for the week of April 23. The Bombers return to action Wednesday at Oswego. Ithaca made it two wins in two meetings against the Red Dragons this year, after defeating Oneonta 7-6 at Freeman Field on April 3.
