Ithaca and Fisher Ranked in IWLCA Poll
The Empire 8 Athletic Conference has two institutions ranked in the week nine poll of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association standings. Ithaca remains at No. 13 and St. John Fisher returns to the poll, landing at No. 20.
The Bombers had a 3-0 week including conference win over Elmira and Alfred to secure the top seed in the Empire 8 Tournament. Ithaca has now won six straight games and will host Hamilton in non-conference play Tuesday, April 23 at 5 p.m.
Fisher locked up the No. 2 seed for the E8 Tournament with wins last week over Stevens and Hartwick. The Cardinals will return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at Houghton College before closing out the regular season on April 27 at Alfred University.
