ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior
Ryan McCormick was a straight-set winner at first singles Wednesday to secure Nazareth's only point in an 8-1 non-conference men's tennis loss at RIT.
The victory improved McCormick's record this season to 18-5 and gave him his 60th career singles victory to move him into fourth place on the all-time list. Nazareth is 6-10 overall and travels to Stevens Saturday for its final regular-season match. RIT improved to 5-9 overall.
McCormick defeated RIT's Chandler Daub 6-1, 6-1. Senior
Jeremy Mancus lost a close match at second singles to RIT's Neville Bilimoria 1-6, 6-2, 6-3. In addition, Nazareth dropped close straight set matches at third and fourth singles. Junior
Erik Manske lost 7-5, 6-4 to RIT's Will Abisalih and freshman
Tyler Williams lost to the Tigers' Mark Gonzalez 6-4, 6-4.
