Cortland dominates Nazareth, 17-4

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Fourth-ranked Cortland dominated visiting Nazareth Thursday in a non-conference women's lacrosse game. The Red Dragons built a 4-0 lead and went on to take a 17-4 victory over the Golden Flyers.
Nazareth is 8-7 overall and visits Elmira Saturday in the team's final regular-season game. Nazareth needs a victory to clinch a spot in next week's Empire 8 Conference Tournament. Cortland improved to 15-1 overall.
Erica Geremia and Tara Monaghan each scored four goals for Cortland and Maria DiFato scored three times. Gina Campese had two goals and three assists.
