On the final weekend of the Empire 8 regular season Nazareth College and Stevens Institute of Technology have clinched the a berth into the post season, joining Ithaca College and St. John Fisher.

The Bombers and Cardinals had the top two seeds secured last week, while the Golden Flyers and Ducks secured their fate today with wins over Elmira and Utica, respectively.

Stevens and Elmira each finished with a 4-3 record but the Ducks beat the Soarning Eagles earlier in the season, 12-6, to give them the tie-break advantage.
 
The two semifinals matches will take place on Saturday, May 4 at Ithaca College. The two winners will meet on Sunday, May 5 in the Empire 8 Championship  at 12 pm with the winner earning the automatic bid and advancing to the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
