Elmira, NY – The Elmira College Men’s Golf team had a strong performances on their home course as they finished in first place at the Elmira College Spring Invitational Tuesday at the Elmira Country Club.
Sophomore
Evan Clarke ’15 carded the low round on the men’s side shooting a 79, while junior
Briana MacDonald ’14 was equally impressive finishing with the best score on the women’s side shooting an 86.
The men finished first out of seven teams shooting a four-man total of 336, while Oswego State finished in second place recording a 351. The Elmira B team had a strong performance placing third with a 359.
Clarke finished in first place with a 79, while teammate
Kyle Hyde ’14 tallied an 83, which was good for third place.
Bryce Hanson ’14 shot an 85 placing seventh and
Alex Todd ’13 and
Jarryd ten Vaanholt ’16 finished with rounds of 89 to tie for ninth.
