Baseball Player of the Week – St. John Fisher
Chris Roeder, Junior – Victor, NY/Victor
 
Chris Roeder led St. John Fisher to a 5-1 week with a .545 batting average (12-for-22) and seven RBI. He is currently on a seven-game hitting streak with multiple hit games in four of his last five. Roeder also scored seven times and stole two bases with three walks.
 
Baseball Pitcher of the Week – Ithaca
Jimmy Wagner, Sophomore – Hilton, NY/Hilton
 
Jimmy Wagner appeared in two games for the Bombers and had seven strikeouts in seven innings of work. He started on the mound against New Paltz and pitched six innings, allowing just one run, and striking out five to earn his eighth win. He also pitched an inning of relief with two strikeouts in a win over Oswego. Wagner finished with a 1.29 ERA on the week as he allowed one earned run and one walk.
 
Softball Player of the Week – Ithaca
Jen Biondi, Senior, OF – Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls
 
Jen Biondi hit a game-winning three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Ithaca to a 6-4 comeback win over Plattsburgh on Sunday in a neutral-site game at Union. The Bombers also defeated Union earlier in the day and swept a Saturday doubleheader at RPI in a four-win week against Division III opposition. Biondi had seven hits, two homers and nine RBIs.
 
Softball Pitcher of the Week – St. John Fisher
Sarah Stefanon, Senior  - Perry, NY/Perry
 
Sarah Stefanon won all four of Fisher’s games during the week as she totaled 40 strikeouts in 28 innings of work. She surrendered just three earned runs on 18 hits and three walks.
 
Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week – Utica
Ben Winkler, Senior, Attack – Rodman, NY/IHC
 
Senior Ben Winkler netted the game-winner in double overtime to help lift the Pioneers to a 10-9 victory over St. John Fisher College on Saturday. Winkler's goal secured Utica’s first conference tournament appearance in program-history. He totaled two goals against the Cardinals and five total goals in two games last week.
 
Men’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week – Utica
Trey Adams, Freshman – Hogansburg, NY/Brewster Academy
 
Trey Adams posted a 63.6 save percentage in the second half against St. John Fisher College on April 27 and he helped guide the Pioneers to a 10-9 double overtime victory. He stopped seven shots and allowed just four goals in 34:44 minutes of action as the Pioneers earned their first Empire 8 Conference Tournament bid in program-history. Fisher out shot Utica 22-18 in the second half and overtime, but Adams' seven saves made the difference as the Pioneers came away with a one-goal victory.
 
Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week - Stevens
Kara Rafferty, Junior, Midfield – Bayshore, NY/Islip
 
Junior midfielder Kara Rafferty led Stevens to a spot in the Empire 8 Championship, scoring eight goals and dishing out one assist in a win over Utica Saturday in Hoboken. Rafferty finished the week with 11 points (10 goals, one assist), seven draw controls, four ground balls and a caused turnover. She registered an 87.5 percent shots on goal percentage on the week for Stevens.
 
Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week – Elmira
Mary Kate Gellerman, Senior – Frederick, MD/Urbana
 
Mary Kate Gellerman made 14 saves in 86 minutes of action on the week for Elmira. She played the entire game against Nazareth on April 27, which proved to be an Empire 8 playoff play-in game, making 13 big saves as Elmira narrowly missed out on its first playoff appearance since 2006.
 
Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Michael Cahill, Junior – Clark, NJ/Union Catholic
 
Michael Cahill placed 11th overall out of 24 runners and was the top Division III participants in the 5K. He posted a time of 14:45.15 to beat the next closest DIII runner by almost 10 seconds. Cahill broke his own school record by 43 seconds (15:28) en route to the 28th fastest time in the NCAA this season.
 
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week – Ithaca
Brian Maley, Senior – Ithaca, NY/Ithaca
 
Senior Brian Maley had the third-best Division III long jump performance Sunday at Cornell's Big Red Invitational. He placed 13th with a leap of 6.76 meters to meet the ECAC qualifier in the event.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Amy Regan, Freshman – Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills
 
Amy Regan was the second-best DIII competitor in the women's portion of the 5K with a time of 17:03.41. She finished 19th in the event out of 31 entries and was 41 seconds better than the next closest divisional counterpart that finished after her. Regan shattered the school record by over two minutes (19:04) for the fifth best time in the country this season. She also holds the second fastest time among freshmen in DIII.
 
Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week – Ithaca
Emilia Scheemaker, Sophomore – Scarborough, ME/Scarborough
 
Sophomore Emilia Scheemaker shattered her own school record in the triple jump with a 12.17-meter performance to place second Sunday at Cornell's Big Red Invitational. She had previously broken the record with an 11.62-meter jump. Scheemaker holds the third longest leap in Division III this season.
 
Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week – Moravian
Evan Dickinson, Freshman – Carlisle, PA/Boiling Springs
 
Evan Dickinson shot a career low 69 to lead the Greyhounds to a pair of victories in a tri-match with DeSales University and Cabrini College on Tuesday, April 23 on the Weyhill Course at the Saucon Valley Country Club. Dickinson had one bogey and four birdies in the three-under-par round. He started the week with an 83 last Monday at the Lehigh Country Club in the Muhlenberg Invitational to tie for 18th of 53 golfers.
 
Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week – Stevens
Matthew Heinrich, Freshman – Hendersonville, TN/Hendersonville
 
Matthew Heinrich was victorious in all four matches between first singles and doubles this week, including wins at both courts over No. 30 TCNJ. He closed out an incredible rookie season with a 21-5 overall record, including a 7-1 mark since moving to first singles and a 16-3 record at first doubles with senior Chris Rosensteel as the No. 3-ranked pairing in the Northeast region.
