ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior
Keaghlan Morrissey posted a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles Saturday as Nazareth continued its track and field season at the University of Rochester's Spring Invitational at Fauver Stadium.
Morrissey posted a winning time of 1:08.85 to cross the finish line first. Other top Nazareth finishers included junior
Lauren Heitzhaus, who placed fourth in the 800-meter run (2:25.42); freshman
Sibongile Chisi, who placed fourth in the pole vault (2.67 meters) and seventh in the long jump (4.73 meters) and senior
Katie Wyant, who missed the entire indoor season while recovering from a leg injury, but finished sixth in the 400-meter dash (1:03.27) and 10th in the 200-meter dash (:28.61).
In the men's meet, junior Zach Lafaver finished seventh in the 800-meter run (2:06.89) and freshman
Brandon Vuolo finished 15th in the shot put (11.55 meters).
